The Zhu Lab

Juncen "JC" received his Ph.D from Erlangen-Nuremberg University in Germany. He enjoys fishing, playing board games, having fun with his kid, and supporting his favorite soccer team: Arsenal Football Club. 

Firoz received his Ph.D from Integral University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Surgery, Columbia University. He enjoys playing cricket and singing. 

Asma received her Ph.D from Integral University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Surgery, Columbia University. She enjoys cooking and playing with her daughter.

Bing Li received his Ph.D from Tianjin Medical University and the University of Oxford. He enjoys running and having fun with his kids.

Xiang Ling received his Ph.D. from China Pharmaceutical University. He enjoys scientific research and thoughtful reflection.​

Carmine received her B.S. from CUNY City College of New York and her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University. She enjoys crocheting, ice skating, camping, and taking care of her many plants. 

Sai received her B.E./M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University. Outside of the lab she enjoys listening to audiobooks (fantasy and mystery books), crafting, swimming, and playing her flute. 

Tiffany received her B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University, and is now working toward her dual M.D./Ph.D degree.  She enjoys baking, hiking, running, and listening to audiobooks. 

Jiayi received her B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University and is now working towards her M.S./Ph.D. Outside of the lab she enjoys playing video games and reading. 

Hanbo received his M.S. in Musculoskeletal science from University College London. Outside of the lab he enjoys to play League of Legends, soccer, tennis and hiking.

Menglu received her Bachelor of Clinical Medicine and Master of Surgery from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and is now pursuing her Ph.D. Outside the lab, she enjoys hiking and cooking.
